MBSR Course

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a systematic and rigorous 8-week course developed in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD to help people improve their quality of living by understanding the mind-body-heart connection.  The science of mindfulness has now produced decades of research which suggests that training in mindfulness can positively affect one’s ability to reduce psychological distress and medical/health symptoms while building resilience and a deeper sense of connection. Through this educational process we learn to recognize and cultivate our own inner resources to cope with stressful situations, heal, and thrive in all area of our lives.
